RIP: Internet Quote Database

We only lasted two months, which is shorter than both Zachary Taylor's presidency and Conan O'Brien's run on the tonight show. In the end, it was the blogs crippling fear of popularity that did us in. We can only hope that internet archeologists will find this blog one day and laugh about how some prick wasted hours of his life maintaining a collection of obscure quotes.

Don't lose all hope just yet though. I'll check back once a month, casually mention the blog in forum posts and Facebook statuses, and if popularity jumps (at least into the double digits), i'll bring it back from the dead.

Now for one last sad hurrah! ~ "Good riddance, the freeloading bastard, I hope you fry."

Irony in its most potent form:

"Main Entry: catholic

Part of Speech: adjective

Definition: all-embracing, general

Synonyms: all-inclusive, broad-minded, charitable, comprehensive, cosmic, cosmopolitan, diffuse, eclectic, ecumenical, extensive, generic, global, inclusive, indeterminate, large-scale, liberal, open-minded, planetary, receptive, tolerant, unbigoted, universal, unprejudiced, unsectarian, whole, wide, world-wide

Notes: Catholic means of or relating to or supporting the Roman Catholic Church while catholic means of broad or liberal

Antonyms: narrow, narrow-minded, specific"

Or maybe I'm just stupid for not knowing the dictionary definition of catholic...

"Most auctions don't have smack talk."

I could explain this quote, but it's funnier out of context. The quote was spoken by Graham Stark of Loading Ready Run fame.

"I kick ass for the lord!"

I don't think I need to say much about this one, other than it was directed by Peter Jackson. The same Peter Jackson that made the Lord of the Rings movies. Oh, and this quote is from Dead Alive.

Happy New Year!

My new years resolution is not to have any new year's resolution. I broke that resolution. My new new year's resolution is to resume posting daily on January 4, 2010.
